The ATLANTIC COAST ORCHESTRA International Conducting Academy offers a fantastic and unique opportunity to 12 talented conductors from all over the world to train and develop orchestral conducting studies with one of the most experienced conductors and conducting pedagogues of our time. Maestro Colin Metters founded the Conducting Department at the Royal Academy of Music in London in 1983 where he has taught for more than 30 years.  He remains at the Royal Academy as Emeritus Professor of Conducting

Maestro Colin Metters will offer his knowledge to selected conductors during this one-week masterclass. Conducting sessions will be held with piano and orchestra. All conductors will be also supported during the realization of the masterclass by Assistant Conductor Luis Clemente. At the end of the masterclass the selected conductors will have the opportunity to conduct the ATLANTIC COAST ORCHESTRA at a final and public concert.

The Masterclass will be held in the beautiful coast city of Esposende (Braga, Portugal) and will represent a major opportunity to work closely with one of the most legendary and inspiring teacher.
