SOLIDAR OCA

OCA Solidária promotes programs and projects that use music as an instrument of citizenship with a view to the well-being and social cohesion of the community. OCA Solidária, in cooperation with various institutions in Esposende, provides various artistic activities, promoting inclusion and equality in the creation of cultural objects.

The Esposende Senior Choir, a project part of the "Ativo+" Program and developed in partnership with the Esposende City Council, has Ana Carolina Capitão and Luis Miguel Clemente as its artistic and musical directors.

The Esposende Senior Choir is made up of around 120 people from the municipality of Esposende and aims to stimulate cognitive and intellectual abilities, promote socialization, inclusion and self-esteem among participants through choral practice.

The appeal to creativity provided by the musical work developed interacts and reactivates the experiences and memories of each person and contributes to the recovery of their own personality, resulting in an increase in self-confidence and happiness.

The Esposende Senior Choir performs in various concerts throughout the year at different venues in the municipality of Esposende.
